Updated: Mar 6, 2019

Acclaimed singer/songwriter/producer Bazzi has announced that his debut album “Honest” will be arriving April 12th. In addition, the 2018 breakout star has released his new track “Honest” today, which will appear on the album, and very well might be this years' post-break-up anthem.

Written by 20-year-old Bazzi, the hot new single “Honest” is joined by a captivating vintage-inspired video, streaming now on Bazzi’s official YouTube channel. The album will also feature a pair of recently released tracks, “Why” and “Gone,” both of which expertly build upon Bazzi’s signature Detroit R&B/pop sound.

“Honest” will also include Bazzi’s breakthrough hit, “Mine.”While we wait for the release of the April album, we are watching “Mine” grow into a massive pop success right before our eyes. The track is currently ascending on the top 20 on the U.S. Billboard’s Hot 100, after reaching #1 on U.S. Apple Music’s Pop Streaming chart, Spotify’s U.S. and Global Viral 50 charts, and Shazam’s Global Top 100. The song has already made ARIA Gold in Australia.

Billboard declared that Bazzi “could very well be on his way to rocking arenas,” and MTV chimed in stating, “2018 in music has been off to a pretty great start, thanks in no small part to Bazzi.” The single has received an outpour of co-signs from other mainstream artists including Taylor Swift, DRAM, BTS and more. Bazzi has been keeping busy thanks to “Mine,” as he recently teamed up with Beats by Dre for a look behind the creation of the hit song via their Beat X Beat video series, streaming now on YouTube.

Bazzi will celebrate the album release with a busy live schedule. The quickly rising star will be a special guest performer on Camila Cabello’s sold out “Never Be The Same” North American tour, which kicks off April 9th in Vancouver. Bazzi will also make appearances at TN’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival and IL’s Lollapalooza.

Bazzi has speedily risen to fame with the help of his expansive production and hypnotic hooks. This inventive and inspired pop craftsman will soon be everywhere you turn, so if you’re not already listening to Bazzi on repeat, we recommend you hop on that.
